2024 Year in Review

2024 was crazy. It flew past like a bullet-train with no brakes, calendar pages flying out the window like dry leaves.

This year, we attended more conventions than ever before, including Canada Plays, UK Games Expo, Gen Con, Essen Spiel, and PAX Unplugged. That’s almost 1 show every other month!

This was all in service of this year’s big new game The Mandalorian: Adventures. There’s nothing better than showing the game in person, even if it requires us to jump in a car, train, or plane. I want to thank everyone who stopped by for a demo or just to say hello; It made our day.

When the game finally released, we were delighted by the positive reviews and playthroughs. If you were posting about it online, there’s a good chance Josh and I read it and smiled. And the release is just the beginning.

The Mandalorian: Adventures was designed as a modular experience, and we’ve already released a handful of free web missions that shake up the game. More will follow!

At Gen Con we got tons of questions about whether Season 2 would ever show up in the game. At the time, we couldn’t confirm it yet, so we had to say dodgy things like: “Hopefully!” or “That would be cool!”

But now, sound the trumpets! The Clan of Two expansion has been announced. We’ll share more details about this next year, but it’s awesome, trust me.

When we weren’t on the road promoting The Mandalorian: Adventures, we were hard at work designing new games. About half that time was dedicated to creating Clan of Two, but the rest of the year was spent brewing up something new, a standalone game.

This game is unlike anything I’ve ever created, and there’s nothing else quite like it. We still have a few more months of work left on it, but I can already tell its something special. We should be able to share more details in the second half of 2025.
